Chai Tea

I have always been a tea lover, but just experienced spiced chai tea recently. It has the richness of your favorite black tea but amplified with the cinnamon and spice.

You can customize to your preference. Try it this winter!


4 whole cloves

1 cinnamon stick, or ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp. fresh or ground ginger

2 peppercorns (whole)

Black Tea of your choice

1 cup of almond milk or milk of choice

granulated sugar (1 tsp per tea bag)

  1. You can customize this recipe to your preference.

  2. In a small bowl, crush cloves and whole peppercorns to release aroma.

  3. Boil 2 cups of water. Add tea bags, sugar, ginger, cinnamon and ground cloves and peppercorns. Steep for 5-6 minutes

  4. In a small saucepan, warm the milk

  5. Strain tea, and discard spices and tea bags. Add warm milk to the strained tea.

  6. Enjoy!
